A very simple breakfast to jump-start the Spleen (and the day!) and conquer Qi deficiency and/or dampness, manifesting in tiredness, sluggishness, overthinking, sticky thoughts:
oats boiled in water (the oatmeal should be soupy so add more water) sprinkled with grounded cinnamon. If you need to have it sweet add honey, not sugar (honey is drying, sugar is damping!). Together with that enjoy a cup of green tea with a slice of ginger in it.
The oats, the honey and the green tea are drying substances, while the cinnamon and the ginger are spicy and warming. The day will begin with nice flow of energy and good mood.
